The AAHA provides an Internet-based application that allows veterinarians, humanitarian organizations, pet owners, or others to search for various animal recovery services and identify the databases in which a given microchip is registered. The AAHA is not affiliated with or involved with any specific microchip registration service and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this pet registration and recovery service. This registry gave the AAHA permission to search the registry's database to help pet owners reunite with their pets. The AAHA does not maintain its own microchip database. It just links to records like this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that choose to participate in the program.
